Aside: SO sorry this is up late -- I wasn't able to post from my phone as I thought I could, and I was on the road the majority of the last few weeks. It should be back on schedule now!

With the all the doors that are being opened to me as a result of this move, choosing the word portals seemed rather wise. I just didn't know it would fall on the very weeks I was moving - serendipity i suppose. I can't even summon up the words to describe just how I feel. Setting aside the logistical overwhelm - my emotions are running rampant.

Apprehension, opportunity, strength, and fear are all playing a part.

Excitement, wonder, delight and optimism are up there as well.

Mostly, I am driven by curiosity. Will I like my new place? What will I discover in my new area? What challenges will I both face and overcome? What doors shall I choose to walk through? My mind has and infinite number of questions running through it at any given moment.

It is without a doubt, a momentus time in my life.

Isn't that one of the cutest and most clever doorknobs you've ever seen?

How does 'Portals' translate in photos to you? Susan & I invite each of you to participate in the project and show us your unique vision, your voice, your echo. Get out your fancy cameras, your vintage ones, your mobile phone cams or use photoshop to manipulate a digital montage. Whatever suits you best!

Always, Chrysti
