I thought flight was an apt choice for our venture back into Echo. It is a fitting subject for my life right now. Once again, I am about to embark on an exciting journey that I haven't taken before. Don't you just love those? They are this crazy mix of exhilaration and terror. And for me, this last year has been filled with them - each has proven to be such a welcome and positive influence in my life. I feel strong. I am strong. With each passing day I begin to have a stronger sense of who I am; age and experience are wonderful like that.

Due to our heavy schedules, Susan & I have switched up Echo a bit. It will be a monthly theme, announced on the 15th of each month. We do hope you will continue to join us. We so enjoy your contributions.
How does 'Flight' translate in photos to you? Susan & I invite each of you to participate in the project and show us your unique vision, your voice, your echo. Get out your fancy cameras, your vintage ones, your mobile phone cams or use Photoshop to manipulate a digital montage. Whatever suits you best!

- I still have to announce this on the blog, and will soon - but I've been working on a special project for 2011. 2011 paintings in 2011!!!!
